New Makeup Work for my portfolio and we have new workshops on the calendar for November at Terri Tomlinson Makeup Training Academy. First, the new work comes from photography Kelly Williams. My inspiration for this look was spring 2015 and the mix of warm gold tones with cool. I love the nudes and flesh tones that are coming in and wanted to pair then with a vibrant metallic eye. I used all “Terri Tomlinson” Makeup for the shot. I really think that she needs a bottle of Neutrogena or Clinique sitting in front of her and hope someday to work on a national beauty ad campaign. It is certainly on my bucket list as a makeup artist! (Am also working on a blush/nude color story for Winter 2015 that is going to be spectacular! More to come on that.)
We have some fun workshops for the month of November on the schedule including a Makeup “Edit” (revamp-re-do) with artist Lisa Stoutmeyer who will be in the studio the 7-8. On the 15th I have a “20 Minute Makeup” Class and on the 22 we have a guest coming in to teach clients about aromatherapy. Mary Ellen of Dorey Aromatherapy will be helping you to make your own spa products which will also make great gift ideas. Also on the 22nd we will have EARS Rescue of Texas
outside with sweet puppies looking for their fur-ever homes. I hope you can come by and give them some love.
Makeup Tip for the upcoming holidays? Wear gold eyeshadow, it is so young and eye-catching. Mix it with brown or purple, something different. If you are local I hope that you will take advantage of my Beauty Makeup Application Service for $60 which is great for your holiday parties and events.
Until next time, Terri Tomlinson Makeup Artist Dallas
